Slave Britain
Slave Britain is an exhibition which artfully documents the ordinary lives and everyday locations caught up in trafficking and calls for an end this to this illegal 21st century trade.
Hull’s Holy Trinity Church will host the Slave Britain exhibition from 15th Sept – 14th October.
The exhibition is produced by Panos Pictures in partnership with Amnesty International, Anti-Slavery International, Eaves and UNICEF UK.
The sensitive photographs, by Panos photographers Karen Robinson and David Rose, represent a rare and intimate insight into the mechanics of this fastest growing form of modern day slavery and explore the devastating impact
it has on people’s lives.
The exhibition was launched at St Paul’s Cathedral on 20 February 2007 and will come to Hull after being shown at the Edinburgh Festival.
Organisers would like to thank East Yorkshire Motor Services whose interest and financial help has enabled Slave Britain to be shown in Hull.
