Fairtrade Fashion Show
Hull College students on the Fashion Course at Degree and BTec level will explore the issues around the fashion and clothing industry and the key difference that Fairtrade offers.
Garments will be designed and made using Fairtrade cloth that will be shown at the fashion show.
Hatti Trading Company will also hold a competition with the students to design a bag that will go into production.
The company produce Hatti Handbags, a range of exclusive designer handbags made in Nepal by rehabilitated survivors of human trafficking, disadvantaged and stigmatised individuals, small cottage industries and rural villagers.
The graphics students at the college will design posters and tickets for the show and art work will also be on display at the event. The event will be held at the Horncastle Building, Hull College.
